2 Day weekend shirt making course
Learn the intricacies of making a shirt. From cutting out the pattern, adding interfacing, pressing, making cuffs and 2 part collar, to learning flat fell and french seams. Take a pattern home with instructions so you can continue on your own

About the event
Recommended to bring your own sewing machine or you can use one of mine
....(This needs prior booking, msg me;) Please check to see if you have a buttonhole foot if not you will need to get one.
You will need to bring fabric 1.5mt if 1.40mt or more wide or 2.5 if 90cm wide.
Please wash and dry the fabric before you arrive
Vegan Lunch is included and of course Tea/ coffee, biscuits/cake
Day1 morning: You will be pinning your fabric, and cutting out, adding interfacing and begin sewing fronts to back inc. shoulder seams. Making collar and cuffs. After lunch, you will be attatching the arms using a flat fell seam and sewing the sides together using french seaming which you will practice before hand.
Day 2 Morning: You will finish off where you left off and begin sewing the fronts down and adding collar stand, and cuffs. After lunch, you will hem the shirt and practice buttonholes before applying them to your shirt.
