Working through the pandemic

These have been challenging times for all of us. But for me as a designer/maker in a different way....As lockdown continue. With everyone focusing on staying well and not bein able to go out, clothing is far from our minds and rightly so. It’s a great opportunity to look at ones wardrobe and take stock, be mindful, know what’s really important.

I started the lockdown like most clothes makers, making face mask in my groovy fabric.... feeling uninspired to make clothes, I then started to work on my on-line store which I have been wanting to do for so long....

I then started to receive messages from previous customers who had either bought from me before or had seen my shop at one of the music festivals I trade at, and so I started to take orders and began making to order in a fabric of their choice, and through these orders I’ve become more inspired to change the way I work......

I think the growing trend is going to be workwear.... practical clothing that’s also stylish but hard wearing....something to wear say while on your zoom meeting but also can go out the shops, walk the dog or dance in your kitchen.

These corduroy pinafore dresses will be available in sizes 6-18 in Petrol blue, dark olive green and dark red like wine, if interested please message me.

I’m having to change tack all the time
